General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Flight regime

The services are provided under VFR flight regime (visual flight rules) under the air operator’s certificate number FR.AOC.0096 and by day only. Flights are subject to the necessary and valid authorizations.

Pricing

Rates do not include airport taxes, handling and taxes per passenger, unless otherwise indicated.

Flight duration

The duration of flights is given as an indication, it may vary according to weather conditions, air traffic, and overflight authorizations. The customer flight time is calculated from start-up to complete engine shutdown.

Booking confirmation

The flight will be confirmed upon receipt of the signed quote with the mention “Good for Agreement” and a deposit or full payment. For sightseeing flights sold by person, the customer must follow the specific booking procedure published by Savoie Hélicoptères. Failing this, Savoie Hélicoptères has the right to cancel its ticket in case of no show on D-day. The circuit of the sightseeing flights sold instead cannot be guaranteed to be identical on each flight. The pilot has the right to adapt the circuit according to the weather conditions.

Responsibility

The captain has full authority to accept or refuse a passenger or baggage that may affect flight safety. Staff, as well as the pilot, may ask the customer to present the contents of the luggage or handbag, if it seems suspicious to them. The customer must be able to present boarding tickets to Savoie Hélicoptères.

Invoicing

The full payment of the service is due before the departure of the aircraft. A deposit may be requested at the time of order confirmation.

Customer information and luggage

When booking or failing this, the customer must provide Savoie Hélicoptères with the full name, age and declared weight of each passenger. As attached to the quotation (aircraft description), the helicopter has a limited baggage capacity. Savoie Hélicoptères cannot be held liable in case that it is impossible to load all luggage on board of the aircraft.

Rules of procedure

Passengers must be present 15 minutes before their scheduled flight time. The costs resulting from deliberate or accidental damage to property and equipment caused by a passenger or an accompanying person will be at his expense.

Cancellation conditions

The mission may be cancelled and postponed for technical reasons or due to bad weather. No penalty towards Savoie Helicopters may be applied in this case. The availability of the helicopters is validated at the confirmation of the order (signed estimate).

In case of cancellation by the customer, and insofar as it is impossible for the company to compensate for this cancellation by replacing it on the flight concerned, Savoie Hélicoptères reserves the right to charge 50% of the price of the service for a cancellation occurring between D-5 and D-2 and 100% of the price of the service for a cancellation between D-2 and Day D.

For sightseeing flights sold by person: tickets are valid for 24 months from the date of issue and are non-refundable. Savoie Hélicoptères may at any time modify or postpone a reservation without notice.

Litigation

In case of a dispute relating to the cancellation and/or performance of the service, the customer must send Savoie Hélicoptères a complaint by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, within 8 days of the cancellation and/or performance of the service giving rise to the dispute. After this period, no claim of any kind whatsoever will be admissible.

Insurance

Helicopters are insured under the required regulatory conditions
